Warsaw Philharmonic announces auditions for the posts of:

  • HARPIST – half-time soloist (1/2 full time equivalent) and
  • CELLIST – full-time tutti player

Candidates ought to submit their applications along with an artistic CV at Warsaw Philharmonic Office, room 109, or by post to the following address: ul. Jasna 5, 00-950 Warszawa, Poland; by fax: (+48) 22 55 17 200 or by electronic mail to: sekretariat@filharmonia.pl, within the non-negotiable deadline of 26th May 2017, 12 noon.

Experience in orchestral performance (respectively on the cello and the harp) is recommendable. The Philharmonic reserves the right to audition selected candidates. The persons selected for an audition will receive individual invitations containing all the details.

The Philharmonic will provide candidates with an accompanist (piano tuned to A442). The solo harp exam may be taken on an orchestral Salvi Minerva instrument, which may be tested in before the exam.
