Warsaw Philharmonic announces AUDITIONS for the post of:

ORCHESTRAL TUTTI MUSICIAN – 2nd VIOLIN (FULL-TIME)

Auditions have been scheduled for: 24th SEPTEMBER 2018 – 1st and 2nd STAGES

Persons interested in the auditions ought to submit their applications and artistic bios to: The Warsaw Philharmonic Office, room 109, or by post to the following address: ul. Jasna 5, 00-950 Warszawa, Poland, by fax at (+48) 22 55 17 200, or by email to sekretariat@filharmonia.pl, not later than by 10th September 2018.

Orchestral experience (tutti violin performance) is advisable.

The Philharmonic reserves the right to select the candidates who will be invited to the auditions.

Candidates qualified for the auditions will receive individual invitations including details.

The Philharmonic provides an accompanist (piano tuned at A4 / a' = 442 Hz).

1. W. A. Mozart - Violin Concerto in A Major KV 219, Mov. I – with cadenza by J. Joachim, or Violin Concerto in D Major KV 218, Mov. I – with cadenza by J. Joachim

2. Two orchestral parts from the list of the second stage (Commitee will make a selection on the day of the auditions)

2nd STAGE

1. J. S. Bach Two contrasting parts from the selected Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin
