The first CD release from the WarsawPhil Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Boreyko
It is with great joy that we present our newest CD album - and at the same time the first recordings of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Andrzej Boreyko, Music and Artistic Director of the Warsaw Philharmonic.
The 2CD release includes recordings of works by Paul Kletzki (Sinfonietta and Konzertmusik), Jan Maklakiewicz (Four Japanese Songs, with Olga Pasiecznik in a solo part), original instrumentations of works by Anton Bruckner (Adagio from the String Quintet in F Major) and Gesualdo da Venosa (Six madrigals) made by Stanisław Skrowaczewski, as well as the arrangement of Variations on a Theme by Johannes Brahms made by Grzegorz Fitelberg. Almost all the works were recorded for the first time!
The album was created in cooperation with CD Accord Music Edition and the directors of the recording are eminent Polish specialists, Grammy Award winners - Andrzej Sasin and Aleksandra Nagórko.
The album is now available for sale, in November you will find it in the streaming music services.
