Friends' Club

The Club brings together representatives of various professions, music lovers and benefactors, all united by a common interest: the present and future welfare of the Warsaw Philharmonic.

Thanks to the funds raised by the Club, in recent seasons we have purchased high quality instruments for the orchestra: an 18th-century master violin by a Viennese luthier, a set of timpani, five clarinets, two English horns, two French horns, a double bass, a contrabassoon, two oboes and two clarinets; and last season the Club funded the release of a commemorative, non-commercial CD box of Mahler recordings performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of maestro Jacek Kaspszyk.
