
Anne-Sophie Mutter will perform with the WarsawPhilh Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Boreyko
The Krzysztof Penderecki Festival will take place in Warsaw from 22-26 November 2023. Three concerts at the Warsaw Philharmonic will feature primarily music by the festival's Patron, but also by other outstanding composers: Witold Lutosławski, Valentyn Sylvestrov and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
On Thursday, 23 November, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under Andrzej Boreyko will perform together with one of the most outstanding violinists, Anne-Sophie Mutter, who will present the solo part in Violin Concerto No. 2 'Metamorphoses', a piece dedicated to her.
In addition to Krzysztof Penderecki's Concerto, we will hear the composer's Passacaglia and Rondo and Witold Lutosławski's Funeral Music.
The Krzysztof Penderecki Festival is organised by the Warsaw Philharmonic and the Ludwig van Beethoven Association.
