Władysław Skoraczewski "Artos" Boys' Choir

Founded by Danuta Chmurska in 2011, the Choir continues the legacy left by its patron, Władysław Skoraczewski – once a soloist of the Warsaw Opera, scout instructor, and a great educator of the youth – who encouraged children’s natural interactions with music.

The Choir takes part in performances of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera: Georges Bizet’s Carmen, Giacomo Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, La Boheme, Tosca and Turandot, Karol Szymanowski’s King Roger, Wolfgang Rhim’s Jacob Lenz, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, ballet triptych Kurt Weil, Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s Die tote Stadt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Carmina burana.

Artos Boys’ Choir also cooperates with Warsaw Philharmonic, Sinfonia Iuventus, Sinfonia Viva orchestra and takes part in recordings of film scores, plays and advertisements.
