The main hero of this season’s opening children’s concert is none other than Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the greatest composers of all time. The year 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of his birth. We will be taking a closer look at his musical beginnings, learn about his youthful dilemmas and choices, and gain an insight into the feelings and emotions of this outstanding artist who suffered from progressive deafness. Paradoxically, when he was at the pinnacle of his fame and popularity Beethoven could barely hear anything, and it was music that brought him the greatest solace. How was this possible? We will try to solve this riddle during the concert. The Maestro’s works will be performed by a piano quintet featuring a piano, two violins, a viola and a cello.
Na koncert zaprasza PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna - Mecenas Roku Filharmonii Narodowej
