In FeNek’s concert guide… pulse and tempo
From first thing in the morning, FeNek has been searching every nook and cranny of the Philharmonic. He’s looking for a very special timekeeper belonging to a composer friend. Could it have become lodged between the strings of the piano? Fallen into a violin case? Or perhaps it’s disappeared beneath piles of sheet music? Without it, our composer completely loses his sense of rhythm, falls out of tempo and loses track of time as he searches for his own musical style. Such a thing hardly ever happens – after all, in music everything has to be right on time!
