In the Musical Theatre – ‘Master Twardowski’ Filharmonia Narodowa

Go to content

If you’re fond of legends, then you’ll certainly like this opera about the legendary nobleman Master Twardowski, written to commission for the Warsaw Philharmonic. It tells this Renaissance sorcerer’s story with a good dose of humour and a pinch of salt. Besides the titular hero, we’ll also see on the stage his wife, as well as the devious Devil, who’ll be doing all he can to ensure that Master Twardowski ends up in hell as quickly as possible. Will this nobleman, whose first love is inventing and travelling, accept the Devil’s help and fulfil his greatest dream?
