Ladies and Gentlemen,
Due to reasons beyond the Warsaw Philharmonic, Marta Gardolińska will not conduct this year's New Year's Eve concert. Zofia Kiniorska will lead the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra in her place. We apologize for this change. The program of the concert and the soloist remain unchanged.
Despite the difficult times, we all try to greet the new year with hope, and to mark the change of date with joy and fun. This exceptional evening can be spent in many ways, and one of the best ideas is to begin it with a concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic! Our programme will comprise a dazzling set of works traditionally associated with the carnival period, such as charming waltzes by the Strausses. There will also be rhythms from Iberia and South America, as well as a selection of operatic hits, presented by one of the most celebrated Polish sopranos, Iwona Sobotka, under the baton of the excellent conductor Marta Gardolińska, enjoying a burgeoning international career.
