Oksana Nosatova
A former soloist at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Oksana Nosatova’s repertoire includes roles such as Mimi in La Boheme and Cio-Cio-San in Giacomo Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Liza in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades, Santuzza in Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana, Abigaille in Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco and title roles in Puccini’s Turandot and Verdi’s Aida.
Her recent and upcoming engagements include the title roles in Aida at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, National Theatre in Prague, Staatsoper Berlin (replacing María José Siri) and Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, as well as in Turandot at Opera Hong Kong, Opera Box in Helsinki and Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv and the role of Abigaille in Nabucco at the National Theatre in Prague and Krakow Opera.
Oksana Nosatova made her debut at the New National Theatre in Tokyo in 2019 in a concert with Kazushi Ono. Her extensive repertoire also includes cantatas and Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach, Requiem by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, as well as vocal works by Ukrainian and Russian composers.
The artist is a laureate of the International Antonín Dvořák Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary, as well as the winner of the first prize of the National Ukrainian Vocal Competition and the International Vocal Competition ‘Art of the 21st Century’ in Kyiv.
