Have you ever seen a Baroque portrait of a Spanish lady or a photograph of a flamenco dancer in a ruffled dress, with a fan in her hand? These and other characters will come to life through music from Spain. We'll imagine the proud and magnificent royal court of centuries past, as well as the towns and villages of Andalusia, alive with colourful folk traditions. To round off our concert, we'll present elements of the fiery flamenco alongside music from 20th-century ballets. ¡Viva España!
