One day, when Phil the Fox was tidying up his burrow, he came across an old box in which, a long, long time ago, he had put a drum. However, it wasn’t any ordinary instrument. The drum was magical. The drumsticks produced rhythms and melodies on it, and it made so many knocking, clattering, rustling and clicking noises that you could make a whole orchestra of sounds out of it. In addition, it could tell fairy tales… During our concert, the stage of the Concert Hall will be filled not by one but by several drums as well as many other percussion instruments, which Leszek Lorent, Tamara Kurkiewicz, and Jan Gralla will enchant for you. And the Warsaw Gamelan Group and the dancer Diah Anggraini Martin will tell us through music a mystery tale about an Indian Princess. Bring to the concert a small drum. Who knows, maybe Phil the Fox will cast a musical spell on it?
